Wild Kenya – Kenya is a country in East Africa with coastline on the Indian Ocean. It encompasses savannah, lakelands, the dramatic Great Rift Valley and mountain highlands. It’s also home to wildlife like lions, elephants and rhinos. From Nairobi, the capital, safaris visit the Maasai Mara Reserve, known for its annual wildebeest migrations. Lake Nakuru National Park boasts a remarkable assortment of flora and fauna. The lake is world-famous as the location of one of the greatest bird spectacle on earth – myriads of fuchsia pink flamingos. After an early breakfast, board your Safari Van and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. In the afternoon.
Arrive Lake Nakuru National Park – One of the world’s most spectacular sights, where you can see huge flocks of pink flamingoes as far as the eye can see. Check into the lodge at Lake Nakuru. Enjoy a buffet lunch at the Lodge. In the afternoon, set out for an exciting tour to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will have an opportunity to view and photograph millions of pink flamingoes feeding around the shores of the shallow soda lake, together with tens of thousands of other birds. Visit the Baboon Cliff and then drive through the Great Rift Valley and visit Rhino Sanctuary and National Park – famous for its flocks of Pink Flamingoes.
Enjoy dinner at the Lodge. Overnight at Lake Nakuru National Park.
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast depart to Aberdares On the way we stop at Thomson Falls. Cross the Equatorial Line and arrive at Aberdares. Arrive for lunch at the base hotel of the forest range. In the afternoon, transfer to the ‘Tree Hotel’ located in the heart of the Aberdares Range. Enjoy the wildlife viewing at night from the Tree Hotel – The Treetops. Game viewing at a tree hotel is different in that the animals come to see you instead of you going to them. Spend the night comfortably watching Elephants and Buffalo, as they come to lick salt at the flood lit water hole. Overnight at ‘Treetops’ Lodge.
Note : A small overnight bag is allowed at ‘Treetops’ rest is stored at the hotel to be retrieved the following morning. Also Children under the age of 7 years are not allowed here.
